Responsibility:
Set up a Canadian branch office and developed a mission and comprehensive strategy for mobile game publishing in Canada.
Structured and inspired a talented team of professionals in various functions, including BD, MKTG, and operations.
Recruited and appointed middle managers, allocated resources effectively, and empowered the team with appropriate authority.
Established strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand our mobile game portfolio and reach Android marketplaces.
Implemented marketing and promotional strategies to ensure the successful launch and ongoing success of published games.
Oversee the financial performance of both the parent company and the branch office, including budgeting, revenue generation, and cost control to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
Serve as the organization's representative or delegate representatives for negotiations and official engagements.
Requirements:
A university degree
Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in the Mobile Gaming industry.
Minimum 1 year experience in Business Development in the Game development industry.
Proven successful leadership in international business expansion or establishment of branch offices, preferably in the technology or gaming sector.
Strong understanding of mobile gaming trends, market dynamics, and player preferences, with demonstrated ability to adapt strategies accordingly to drive business growth and market penetration.
